There are specific requirements in developing Tech Prep programs in Pennsylvania. The Key Program Components lists the processes and activities that are to be addressed by each regional consortium through their project funded by the Department of Education. Tech Prep definitions have been developed to describe Tech Prep programs as well as Tech Prep students and completers at both the secondary and postsecondary levels. Also, a set of Tech Prep student indicators has been developed which can assist in identifying Tech Prep students in relation to other Department of Education reporting requirements.
